Is there a bug on it? Please tell us.

ratripper never reached a RC nevermind a beta, the code was stopped before the latest security stuff, it should bec onsidered as such

i think we should focus some development on ratripper.
I just downloaded h-bot demo, and .. it's not all that sophisticated. The core functionality in terms of complexity is probably on par with the roidripper.
They even need you to do manual setup of the window (not even automated setup).. lame.

Personally, I've slowly been porting the code to AutoIT and going from there on my own for a while now. In any case, it would probably be easier to start from scratch on RatR - it was never very sophisticated.

yet hbot is extremely succesful, updates are done within hours of changesand it takes a few brain cels to get it going, not like RR - i even like the fact there is no auto login too
DD made RR too complicated IMO

I would interested in the development of a null-space rat hunter bot.

I suspect that the automated setup in RR was the signature that CCP looked for to flag accounts that had at some point set themselves up for botting...add them to a watch list and do a few simple checks (like mining with the star map open) and 'banned!'.
No automated setup is one fewer indicator of a bot.

Randomize the automated setup then. Make say, 5 different settings the bot can use. Make it randomly decide which it will go with. When it's setting it up, make the order random too. Sometimes you do the audio tab first, sometimes last. Sometimes you never adjust audio. More flexibility means WAY harder to detect. Why not close the setup window half way through, check your skill queue, then continue on with setup? Lots of stuff to throw a wrench in a detection system.

You're volunteering to write all this code, right? And support it when someone eventually runs into an error?
Not that anything you suggested would actually prevent them from reading your client settings and seeing that it looks just like the client settings of a bunch of other suspected bot accounts.

I finally started work on my version of ratripper the last 2 days, it's mostly from ground up.
It's in AHK, and based off the Roidripper OCR code. I'm about 1500 lines in, and have gotten all the OCR in place in phase 1. Along with warping around, Local Detection, and Warp to safe spot. Next up is actual target/combat. I'm guessing another 1500 lines should get the basics in place.
It's randomized mouse click regions. No starmap, and random placement of overview/Menu items. Instead of using static defined locations, I took a look at h-bot, and how they do an "auto-config", which is just really an OCR detection of key icons and image offsets. So it uses that idea.
left todo:
Phase 2: rat targetting, and killing
Phase 3: Loot , and loot drop off in secure containers
Phase 4: Auto login, and downtime waits
Phase 5: drones, chaining, active shield boosts
PM me if anyone is interested in working on this together.

Phase 3: Loot , and loot drop off in secure containers
maybe you can skip this non-prior option and add it in the future releases ?
Because everyone who uses rat bots firstly are looking into getting ISKs from bounties on killing NPC-ships
I think this will save time for you

after phase 2, it should be usable for the purpose of getting isk from kills.
that said , i haven't had time to work on it all week. What i did manage to do is push the code to a GIT repo on projecthosting, and 1 other person volunteered to work on the project, who is now setup to sync the code. I will probably spend some time just walking through the code with him online.
Another person volunteered as well, but haven't heard back from him to be able to create his projecthosting account.

TL;DR? It's quite clear that it's either unfinished or non-functional.

Given changes to the UI, I'm going with "non-functional" until it's proven otherwise.
