Is it me or did hulks use to cost 300mil+?

I am looking to buy a hulk for one of my botting toons and I open up the market and theres some for like 170m.

Its been a while though, so my memory could be sketchy. Did they ever cost 300m or am I full of it?

Nope, not since invention was implemented. They used to cost even less a year ago.

You're right, its my memory playing tricks on me. I looked up the Jita graph and they were 135m or so last year. Wonder what caused the price raise.

Hulkageddon drove the price up to 180m and it dropped back down a bit. It's like this every year, but now I think minerals are more valuable than before and so are hulks.

there is still lots of fighting and advancing from white noise in null so that could be a reason to as why mineral prices have gone up

The fighting has hardly increased over these months. If anything, it has decreased since a larger portion of the nullsec is in peace mode. I think the general increase in minerals is more due to reduced mining bots compared to ratting bots. Isk is inflating, minerals are not.

I would tend to agree with that theory, specially since there aren't any public, free mining bots out right now, and haven't been for a while now.

Yeah, need more mining bots to stabilize the prices :D

Hoping to bring you one soon.

Lulz minerals have 0 effect on hulk prices, they are pegged to technetium.

Yeah, I was just trolling around.
Indeed, all the t2 prices are tighly coupled to the price of tech. the T3 stuff depends on the nanoribbons + research.

I also hope things are going to change concerning the Technetium issue.
